Anders' remark

A conversation between Anders and Ophelia upon him noticing Ophelia does not have a large mana pool. Takes place during "Enemies Among Us" in ACT I.

Anders peered over at her. "You know, Hawke... I'm starting to question you." He sat on a crate, resting. They just finished plowing through a whole whack of undead skeletons after a fair number of shades, and everyone was taking a short break before continuing.

Ophelia looked up at him. She sat, kneeling on the ground, examining one of the skeleton skulls very closely. Her heart jumped into her throat and in her mind Myrmar spoke to her, "Do not panic, mortal. So long as you do not perform blood magic in front of anyone, there is nothing you can't weasel out of."

"Carver tells me your father used to take you and your sister out to train. I don't know what kills he taught you, but... you don't have a very large mana pool, do you?"

Ophelia stood and crossed her arms. "So? What's your point. That I don't make a very good mage?"
Ignoring her retort, he continued, "What did your father teach you, anyway?"

Myrmar whispered, "You don't have to be interrogated by a mage like him," before hissing. Ophelia turned away from Anders and addressed the others:

"Isabela, Aveline... I think we've rested enough. Let's continue." Without complaint, the other two women stood and started ahead. Ophelia followed behind the two melee fighters, and Anders was safe at the back.

Anders pushed a little further, "Ophelia?"

She gave him a small glance over her shoulder and replied, "Spirit healing."
